These terms and conditions shall apply to all reservations made with The Sir David to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions relating to reservations, notwithstanding the fact that such other terms and conditions may be printed on reservation forms used by guests or tour operators. These terms and conditions shall not be deemed to have been varied or amended in any way by terms and conditions appearing elsewhere unless agreed in writing and signed by both parties.

TARIFFS:

All prices quoted according to current tariffs shall be subject to amendment by The Sir David at any time before acceptance and after acceptance should there be any increase in any statutory levy, or tax payable by The Sir David. All tariffs are quoted in South African Rand .

RESERVATIONS:

All reservations shall be made in writing by fax or e-mail through the Reservations Office. Cancellation of such reservations shall be subject to the relevant cancellation penalties contained herein. In the case of Group reservations, full Rooming List and Group details shall be provided to the Reservations Office 14 days prior to the date of arrival. A group consists of any booking of 6 rooms or more.

PAYMENT:

The Sir David reserves the right to cancel and/or amend any reservation in the event of failure to comply with the terms of payment, and The Sir David shall not be liable for any loss or consequential loss resulting from such cancellation or amendment.

CHILD POLICY:

The Sir David shall allow two children 12 years and younger to share with two full paying adults at an additional cost. (Please see rates for cost) Additional beds shall be made available in the bedroom. Please note no children under 6 years of age unless the entire guest house is booked. For children 13 years and over the full adult rate will be charged.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check In: 14H00 until 20h00 Check Out: 10H00 GENERAL: The Sir David reserves the right to impose a minimum night restriction over certain periods, subject to availability on the day of reservation. Please note the min stay restriction of 3 nights between 15 Dec and 15 Jan and 2 nights over Easter weekends. The Sir David reserves the right to offer all special rates and packages, strictly subject to availability on the day of reservation. Where any of these conditions change, any party thereto will have to be notified (and possibly a new contract entered into).

- Cancellation four weeks or less before arrival: 50% of full amount will be forfeited.

- Cancellation two weeks or less before arrival: 100% of the full amount will be forfeited.

- Cancellations and amendments must be made in writing to The Sir David Boutique Guest House by email or facsimile.

- Any refunds due will be paid 14 days after departure.
